Adi Dravidar, Poondi
This is Well #5, given by Northview Christian Church.
In this village there are 100 dalit families with a population of 400 in the Adi Dravidar Street area. Most of them are landless agricultural laborers.
This is well #4 funded by Northview Christian Church.

Poondi Pu School was our second stop of the day with 6 projects to go. This is a government run school which from an appearance point of view was a stark contrast than our previous stop. (more…)

Our implementing partner, Wells for Life, has just returned from dedicating our first wells of 2009 in India!
Pictures are still being uploaded as I type. We will have higher-res pictures from all the wells within a day or so. Internet in India proved a huge obstacle this trip, so we had to wait a couple of days to get them this time.
