Something needs to change. Nearly 1 billion people around the world do not have access to the most basic resources. These resources that we take for granted and continually waste away. Water is the single most valuable resource that we can give to a community struggling with poverty and deprivation. Why water? 

Because ... - 1 in 8 people around the world do not have access to safe drinking water - 1 out of every 5 deaths under the age of 5 is due to water related diseases. - Nearly 80% of illness in developing countries is linked to poor water and sanitation Clean water doesn't just save lives, it creates opportunity.  The aim of this project is to fundraise money to help build water wells in places such as Uganda, Kenya, India, Sudan, Sierra Leone and Rwanda. many villages in these countries are either facing extreme drought, floods or poor water systems. The Water Project will use the funds raised to create water supplies in villages and we will be directly connected to the construction process. When enough money is raised to build a well, we can then show you the construction and exact location of our own well. For more information, check out http://thewaterproject.org/. We can easily forget about the lives and troubles of others living of the other side of the earth. We can easily say that our efforts cannot erase poverty and that this is far beyond and above us to solve. But all it takes, is for everyone to donate, for everyone to lend a helping hand.
