Hello Everyone,
Please support my fundraising initiative to support the Water Project and their mission to build wells in Africa. With your support, the Water Project can help bring relief to communities who suffer needlessly from a lack of access to clean water and proper sanitation.
Currently, more than 1 in 6 people in the world remain without access to safe drinking water. Also, over one-third of the world's population has no access to sanitation facilities. In developing countries, about 80% of illnesses are linked to poor water and sanitation conditions. 1 out of every 4 deaths under the age of 5 worldwide is due to a water-related disease. In the next 24 hours, diarrhea caused by unclean water and poor sanitation will claim the lives of 4,000 children.
Regardless, of the size of your gift, all support is greatly appreciated. All proceeds will go directly to the Water Project. Please donate! A gift of $10 = clean water for 1 person for 10 years!
Get involved and help save lives!
Thank you,
Aradhna Sharma
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
