Fundraiser

Do you know what a waterborne disease is? For those of who don't please read what I have to say. What a waterborne disease is when a person comsumes water contiminated with fecal matter but other dangerous substances. Every day all over the world people lose their lives over waterbone diseases. Typically in Africa and the poorer regions of Asia the water treatment system is typically an aspect of which the countries cant seem to fix. Because of this dirty water is used by the population and hazardous pathogens enter their body contaminating their body with dangerous substances. By donating to this page the money given will be sent to the water project where people help build wells to save the lives of hundreds of thousands of people.

Why It Matters

Access to clean, safe water unlocks potential

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

About The Water Project

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.

Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
