Help Fund a Water Project

As a grade 10 student in Canada we learn about the developing world, and out natural resources. This year for my projects I made my focus on the water crisis, and had the chance to visit the Manitoba Water Conservatory annual meeting. It was an amazing experience getting to hear from farmers in my area about what they must have to go through. Getting to talk with different council members and learning so much got me to realize that although we are having our own issues, there are much worst circumstances out there. My best friend sent me a link to this site, and after reading a learning about the mission I have decided to try and help. my current goal is $100. Why such a low amount, well if you think about it $100 = 10 wells to 10 communities. That is a lot of people, so as I continue to help the cause I will keep the goals low, and the dreams high! Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
