Help Fund a Water Project

Together, we can unlock potential in a developing community by providing clean, safe water.

I was washing my 20th load of laundry it seemed one day and I thought I need to get in the shower but first I think I'll wash dishes. I looked at the dog's bowl and saw it needed filling. Then a feeling of complete gratitude and blessing came over me. It occured to me how blessed we are in the United States to so easily be able to just jump in the shower daily and have clean safe water in our homes. I thought about a little boy that was just 7 years old and everyday he and his father would get up at 4:00am or 5:00am in the morning to walk up the mountain where they lived about 10miles round trip, to bring water to the the school where he was going, everyday so that the other students would also have water. What hugh responsibility of such a young boy. It made me weep. I decided we can get involved. I think it is also a great way to teach our childern about the example set for us by Christ's love and giving to help others. I hope that you will be moved to help us reach our goal of raising enough for 2 wells. Thank you soo much for what ever you can do! Sincerely, Elizabeth

Why It Matters

Access to clean, safe water unlocks potential

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

About The Water Project

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.

Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
