Help Fund a Water Project
My school, Radford
University, is hosting a 5k to benefit this organization. Since I am in South
Carolina for the summer I will miss out on it so I began my own fundraiser. As
of right now an event fundraiser will not be held, I am just looking to the
power of the Internet and you all to get the word out of my goal. If you would like to donate my goal is only
set at
$ 1,000.00. Anything
will help and can save the life of those less fortunate by a simple gift that
we take for granted everyday... Clean drinking water... We CAN
make it to $ 1,000.00 just by the help of a few small donations.
Why It Matters
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
