I joined The Water Project so that I can help provide the necessities for life to better the lives of the young African children and their families. As Americans there are more things we take for granted then those that we do not. Among these things are life essentials, like water, food, and a home. Although one person can make a difference I hope that my family and friends will support me and this cause as well as help spread the word about this organization. I also hope to start a fundraiser at my former elementary school so I can open the eyes of the children of the future and have them raise money to help children their age.

To my friends and family who are reading this, $1.00 can provide purified drinking water for families in need for a year! If you can not donate for whatever reason I ask that you please spread the word about The Water Project. And for those of you that have or will donate I thank you for being apart of this amazing life changing cause. No matter what the dollar amount is that you can donate, everything is greatly appreciated. Thank you for supporting me and much more being apart of changing peoples lives.


*TRY THIS: Try drinking only water for two weeks, cut out coffee, soda, tea you name it. At the end of two weeks donate the money that you would have spent on soft drinks to this cause instead. The money would have a greater purpose after being spent wouldn’t it?

Why It Matters

Access to clean, safe water unlocks potential

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.

Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
