This is our chance to make a difference. We can give water to those who don't have it. Can you imagine that? I can't. Practically all that i drink and eat is water-based and some people have to use water that is filled with bacteria and all kinds of particles from dirt.. How would you like to have to scoop your drinking water from a yellow puddle? These are human beings. You may not know them and you may not be close to them, but they are close to someone else. They are daughters, mothers, aunts, sisters, wives, sons, fathers, uncles, brothers, husbands, etc. They have relatives and people that ARE close to them that are in just as bad conditions. They don't have the power that we do to help each other. We can make a difference. A penny is one cent closer to my $500 goal. There doesn't have to be an instant reaction, as long as my participation in this humanitarian effort inspires YOU to act. Donate to my page, fundraise on your own, or just download a flyer and tell a friend. It's a good cause, so ask yourself why not? What's stopping you from saving lives through the gift of clean water?
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
