I currently attend Saint Louis University and I am in the process of creating a Call To Action specifically with the Kenyan Water Crisis. All semester I have been working on the Kenyan Water Crisis, writing informational and argumentative papers as to why and what we must do to help. But now I am in need of a bigger support to actually apply my call to action to real life instead of writing about it I want to do something about it. I am willing to honestly do anything I am trying to create a call to action to pretty much just spread the word about the Kenyan water crisis and to get support to hopefully raise money or go volunteer in Kenya. After the first video I watched about the citizens in Kenya I felt an immediate passion for them. Those that must suffer the days of walking miles to fetch clean water, those who suffer from the diseases and pains that drinking unsafe water, and those that now face deformities due to drinking unsafe water. Change needs to happen before to many innocent people are hurt. I want to create change for those innocent people. Please help create change with me.
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
