Help Fund a Water Project

Together, we can unlock potential in a developing community by providing clean, safe water.
Fundraiser

Our society takes H2O for granted. In the world, over 1 billion people
do not have access to clean water. Some students even have to miss out
on an education because they have to walk miles every day to get clean
water for their family. We have started The Water Challenge to raise
awareness of the hardships other parts of the world face on a daily
basis; specifically SIERRA LEONE in AFRICA.

JOIN THE CHALLENGE!

---try cutting out soda and drink only water for two weeks. Then divert
the money you would have spent in the vending machine towards building
a well in Sierra Leone!!---

We are holding a fundraiser at the Reston
Town Center Ice Skating Rink on MONDAY JANUARY 17th from 4-7 pm!!

Every
skate pass purchased donates $3 so come out and give water!!

Why It Matters

Access to clean, safe water unlocks potential

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

About The Water Project

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.

Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
