Help Fund a Water Project

Together, we can unlock potential in a developing community by providing clean, safe water.
Fundraiser

Today this guy came to my school, Mira Loma High School, and did this presentation on something called The Water Project. At first all I could think was "Look at this guy trying to be young and hip with his backwards baseball cap on", but as I listened and watched his presentation; I was really moved. His presentation made me think to myself: "I could raise money to help children in Africa, too". My family and I already sponsor a girl, Isatou Camare, in Africa in the country of Gambia, but I feel like that is just my grandmother doing that. I don't really have to do anything.
So, I have decided to get some friends together to raise money to, hopefully, build at least one well. Not too hard, right?

Why It Matters

Access to clean, safe water unlocks potential

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

About The Water Project

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.

Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
