Why Quench the Thirst Concert?

Donating money to charitable causes is excellent. Yet exchanging music for donations is even

better. QTT aims to raise money for fresh water pumps in a less conventional way. by

giving our donators a show in return for their donations. "Exchanging music for fresh water"

How is this done? For every ticket purchased to our event, 100% of the profits are donated to

constructing sustainable fresh water systems, for people who need it.

Saturday 4th August 2012 - The Willesden Pentecostal City Mission youth group

have organised a gospel concert at 2 Scrubs Lane, Harlesden, London, NW10 6RB. The theme of the concert is called "Quench the Thirst" and the purpose is to raise money to build fresh water pumps for a village in Uganda.

The night will feature special performances from UK gospel artists, dance crews, choirs, comedians and rap artists, plus a performance from MOBO award winning gospel artist, Triple O. You can support us by doing any of the 3 options below: 1) Purchase a ticket to the QTT concert on Saturday 4th August by calling (07977006395 or 07415245846) 2) Make a donation to our Water Project through the links 3) Raise awareness with a tweet/post this link on your social media network Whatever you choose to do, do it fast as people who need this valuable resource are dying

Why It Matters

Access to clean, safe water unlocks potential

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

About The Water Project

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.

Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
