Help Fund a Water Project
I watched this clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=volbB38lCYA&feature=relmfu and decided I have to do my bit to help alleviate lack of clean and safe drinking water across the globe and especially in Africa. Water is such a basic need you'll expect governments to give it a priority but in Kenya as in other countries, it is no priority at all leaving folks like the Turkana forced to drink and cook with water that is full of all kinds of disease causing things.
If each of us can do the bit we can, I am sure we can make a difference in bringing clean and safe drinking water to this and other communities that have no means to solve the problem on their own. So, in researching what is being done about the problem charity-wise, I came across this organization and am decided to do my bit through them.

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
