Help Fund a Water Project
As Americans, I think that many of us take for-granted just how fortunate we are. We wake up, brush our teeth, take a long hot shower, and make our morning coffee, all without a second thought. In our daily routines, most of us will use more clean water in the first hour of our day then some people will see in a week.
Clean water is a basic necessity that we rarely consider ourselves "lucky" to have, but the harsh reality is that nearly 1 billion people lack access to clean water. Millions of people are suffering from related diseases, such as Cholera, that are deadly but easily preventible. It is unacceptable that people are dying from the lack of one of the most basic essentials needed to survive; WATER.
The Water Project works to eliminate this problem by bringing relief in the form of wells and education about maintaining sanitary conditions. These wells not only provide clean drinking and bathing water, they also help rebuild villages by providing water for gardens, so people can grow their own fresh food, and by eliminating the need for children to search for clean water, so they can instead return to school.
Please help in our efforts to put an end to millions of unnecessary deaths by providing clean and safe water to all.

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
