Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have clean water to drink?

I'm helping raise funds to provide clean, safe drinking water to people who suffer needlessly without it in the developing world, and could really use your help!

Our donations will be used to construct a specific water project. We'll get pictures, GPS coordinates, and reports from the field, as they happen. We'll see the actual results of what we've done.

REGISTRATION WATER WALK FALL 2012

Radford University students took notice!  Math 312 students (Math for social justice) decided that families living without clean water was an injustice.  The summer class of 2012 initiated an effort to change this when they decided to have a 5kwalk/run around campus in support of raising funds to drill a well.  Amazingly, this small group of six propelled us forward in working toward  our goal of $7500.00.  Now, a second group of RU students have eagerly accepted the challenge of completing this incredible journey......to bring fresh, clean water to a few who do not have it.

Our second waterwalk is scheduled for October 20th, 2012!  This 5K walk/run will begin at 10 am.  Waterwalk will begin in Parking Lot CC.

Thanks to everyone who has already made a donation!  We are nearly there!  Every dollar counts, so please make your donation.

About The Water Project

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that's bringing relief to communities around the world who suffer needlessly from a lack of access to clean water.

We tell stories. The story of water, the story of change, and the story of hope. These stories inspire people to raise the money needed to build wells and other water projects at schools, medical centers, churches and other public places in under-developed nations.

With monies raised, our partners in the field can do the digging and construction needed to provide clean, safe water efficiently and sustainably. They also mobilize, train, and follow-up with local communities, helping ensure long-term success.

We work closely with our partners around the world who identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. That's how we share the whole story with you and hopefully inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.

Why Give Water?

Nearly 1 billion people don't have access to clean, safe drinking water.

The Problem:

For too many...dirty, diseased water leads to a cycle of sickness, lack of education, poverty and lost hope. It is needless suffering.

The Solution:

Decide this has to change. Get involved. Help me fund a clean, safe water project.

What to Do:

Donate and help fund a well with me. Once the goal is met we'll all receive a tracking link so we can actually see the specific project we helped
fund. Together we'll witness the impact our donations make.
