Help Fund a Water Project

Together, we can unlock potential in a developing community by providing clean, safe water.
Fundraiser

As we are studying the water cycle in class, we have learned that it is nature's recycling system. But what happens when the water cycle breaks down? In many countries in Sub-Saharan
Africa, the water cycle doesn't work and clean water is scarce. People have to
walk miles just for a bucket of clean water.

We are raising money to give to the organization The Water
Project, who builds wells in villages across Sub-Saharan Africa, so those
people can have access to clean water.

We will be collecting plastic
water bottles
(only) and we will recycle them to raise money!

So because nature's system of recycling
fails sometimes, we can do our part by recycling instead! Let’s recycle our
water bottles to help get clean water for everyone!

Why It Matters

Access to clean, safe water unlocks potential

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

About The Water Project

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.

Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
