Help Fund a Water Project
Water; we use and waste it on a daily basis, taking it for granted.
This is not the case for everyone on this planet. Every day people die from a lack of drinking water. It moved me to start a fundraiser supported by www.thewaterproject.org.With our support the plan is to help build a water well, to provide an entire community in Kenya, Sierra Leone, Uganda or Rwanda with fresh drinking water. I am totally psyched, and sincerely hope that together, we can raise an amount of $5000 (~€3900) , and make a difference!
Water; we gebruiken en verspillen het dagelijks, en nemen het als gegarandeerd.
Dit is helaas niet voor iedereen op deze aarde het geval. Elke dag sterven er duizenden mensen aan een gebrek aan drinkwater.
Dit heeft mij bewogen om een collecte op te richten, gesteund door www.thewaterproject.org .
Met onze gezamelijke hulp kunnen we helpen een waterput te laten bouwen,
om zo een heel dorp in Kenya, Sierra Leone, Uganda of Rwanda van vers drinkwater te voorzien.
Ik ben erg enthousiast, en hoop dat we samen een bedrag van $5000 (~€3900),
en een verschil kunnen gaan maken!
Why It Matters
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
