Help Fund a Water Project
So often, we take for
granted the clean water that is right at our fingertips but nearly one BILLION
people do not have access to clean water. In developing countries, about 80% of illnesses are linked to poor water and
sanitation conditions. 1 out of every 5 deaths under the age of 5 worldwide is
due to a water-related disease. Clean and safe water is essential to healthy
living.
Since, I've been lucky
to have always had access to clean water, I've decided to raise money to have a
water well built in Africa.
How can you help? Well,
I would like for my friends and family to make donations to my water well.
Instead of giving me birthday or Christmas gifts, donate to my water well. I
don't care if it's just $5.00, every little bit counts. I will also be
doing my part to raise the money. I have a lot fundraising ideas in mind, from
bake sales to car washes. I will send out information on those events when
the time comes.

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
