What is "Personal Impact?"
Personal Impact is one of the most unique things about your myWaterProject experience. Everyone who's part of myWaterProject has a Personal Impact score. Everywhere you go inside the community, your Personal Impact follows you -- always showing the level of contribution you've made toward giving people access to clean, safe water!
Why measure? It's simple. We want to show you the good you've helped make possible. In addition to fun things like getting a t-shirt, we're planning to use individual Impact Points to connect you to actual completed water projects in the field. If you collect a certain number of points, we'll show you the well you helped build and we'll even list you as a supporter.
Impact is all about results...not just activity.
We all know how many invites we've receieved to join stuff online. But an invite doesn't change anything, it doesn't help us dig a well...Action does. The Impact Score reflects this.
Inviting supporters is important. But it's getting those recruits to get involved that really matters. Being on a team is good, but actually participating in discussions and sharing ideas is even better.
We need your ideas, your energy and your passion. We need you. Help us give clean, safe water...and change everything.
