Partnering for Success
There's more than enough work to go around!
The Water Project, Inc. is looking for partners in 2009. We're actively seeking small and medium-sized clean water NGO/NPOs whose goals are the same as ours, to provide clean water to those who desperately need it.
We know there are more than a few organizations out there who are working to address the issue of clean water and sanitation in various parts of the world, using various means and people to help.
We believe there is yet untapped potential in joining together to broaden our collective reach, while allowing each partner to better focus on their particular strengths.
Why Partner?
One of our most important goals is to reduce redundancy and to alleviate the burdens associated with managing multiple small NPOs - each with related websites, administrative expenses, fundraising campaigns, and legal filings. We'd like to help partners raise funds, process donations, report on their work, and tell a great story...all while meeting new donors and partners. Some partners will simply seek help raising funds and others will be glad to have assistance in all these areas. It's really up to each.
We seek one thing...to see as much good done as possible with the resources we're each given. If we can reduce the number of paid lawyers and accountants, and instead see that money spent on water, we'll have accomplished a goal.
How Will It Happen?
The vision is simple. Together, we'll create a neutral platform that engages supporters, new and old, with the work you're doing.
We'll help you share your story, your successes, and your goals through innovative new tools being developed today.
Together, we'll raise the profile of the clean water crisis and see more lives changed.
We envision a consortium of groups that support one another through shared knowledge-bases, fundraising tools, advocacy campaigns and by providing increased transparency into the work we are all doing.
What Do You Lose?
Our goal...nothing.
We sincerely believe that partnerships should be additive to your work and should never risk alienating (or confusing) your current support base. We'll work together to make sure that we get it right.
