The Water Project
Providing Access to Clean Drinking Water, with Your Help!
These photos are from just a few of the water projects we've been working on in Kenya, Cameroon, India, and Zambia.
The video is from our recent trip to Kenya to see what your gifts have done!
We're not done yet...
Because seeing is believing...
For every project we complete, we document the work with location data (usually GPS), a field report and photos. You can give with confidence, knowing that 100% of your donation goes to actual construction costs.

Typical Water Project Goals:
- Access to Water within 1 km (half-mile)
- 50 litres per person/day
- Clean, Filtered & Disinfected Water
- Sustainability
- Community Ownership and Management
The water comes from rainwater harvesting techniques and/or
water wells. Where water is available, but diseased and dirty, we're also using Biosand water filtration.
These systems include the construction of weirs (small sand dams that capture
water during the seasonal periods of rain) and roof-top rainwater catchment
systems using gutters and pipes on large buildings like schools
and churches. Once collected in tanks, the water can be filtered, disinfected and distributed to communities and schools.
These water projects are designed to help people who currently walk several kilometres a day to collect often dirty, diseased water. In Cameroon, water can now be cleaned right in the home!
By joining us and donating what you can, you will help eliminate water scarcity in these communities.

about "The Water Challenge"
“We feel so proud of [our daughter] and all the children that participated in making clean water a reality for those who don’t have it. This was a great lesson for us all, and inspired many of us to give of our resources to help those without.”
