Today, too many children suffer needlessly - walking miles for dirty water that makes them sick. You and I can change that. I've been so blessed in my life and one of those blessings was a trip to Kenya to visit some of these projects, I have seen the heartbreaking realities of not having clean water and the miraculous transformation of a community once clean water is a constant, I can honestly say that I have never seen a dollar go farther towards a noble cause and effort. Like many of you I'm sure this is not my first attempt in giving to make a difference. I too have seen projects with so much promise wither and fade, either once the original investment runs dry or after there are maintenance issues with whatever solve was delivered to a community who was not prepared for the long-term effort. This is different the water project operates as a partnership not a charity. We partner with communities to create a clean water solution, the community members themselves provide most of the labor and local materials. Water project comes in with the capital expenditure which based on financial imbalances across the globe these communities could never raise. And we bring the intellectual property to say this is how it's done so it works, and this is how you maintain it, repair it, use it for sanitation and agriculture, agribusiness etc. then they track the water, so we always know if our solution be it clean spring, well or sand damn is functioning to its potential.
