Help Fund a Water Project
Apesar de adorar sapatos, bolsas e acessórios, gosto mais das pessoas. Saber que o valor arrecadado pelos meus amigos e parentes para o meu aniversário irá contribuir para o acesso de vários indivíduos à água me traz muita alegria. Muitas vezes temos como garantido o acesso a elementos básicos, tais como água, alimentos e infraestrutura sanitária. Na verdade, esta é uma realidade ainda distante de milhões de seres humanos. O valor arrecadado aqui irá diretamente para a construção de um poço em uma comunidade em necessidade. Peço, portanto, que todos que pretendem me dar um presente de aniversário, seja do valor que for, que doem a quantia para este projeto. Tenho certeza de que receberemos muito mais fazendo isto. Maria Fernanda In spite of loving shoes, handbags and accessories, I like people more. Knowing that the amount of money raised by my friends and relatives for my birthday is going to contribute for the acces of many individuals to water brings me tremendous joy. Many times we take the access to basic elements such as water, food and sanitarian infrastructure for granted. In fact, this still is a very distant reality to millions of human beings. The amount raised here will go directly to the construction of a well in a community in need. I ask, therefore, that all people who intend to buy me a gift for my birthday, whatever its value, donate the amount for this project. I'm sure that we all will receive much more doing this. Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
