bring clean water to
thousands of people
The Water Project Mission
We cannot ignore the crisis of water scarcity throughout the world. You can help us bring clean water to Africa.
Every day, hundreds of children die of water borne diseases. We cannot accept this in a world with so much wealth and technology within our grasp. You and I must act.
Get informed and then get involved. If you believe in justice, then be the one to bring it. Start with water.
How we began:
We heard first-hand from our partners in Africa about the devastating effect the lack of clean drinking water can have in a community.
We began "The Water Project" to raise money and awareness to construct water wells and rain water collection and filtration systems in many Kenyan communities.
When constructed, often only weeks after money is raised, each water system provides clean drinking water, bringing poverty and hunger relief to upwards of 3,000 people within a 1km walk. Not for one day, not for one week, but for years and years to come.
We believe these essential, life-sustaining projects will help enable our partners to demonstrate what loving one's neighbor is really about in Kenya and countries throughout Africa. We believe these water projects will relieve suffering, open doors to education and economic development, and most importantly bring a lasting hope.
We're asking you to very seriously consider how you might be a part of this effort with us.
