Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. is a private, not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. Since its founding, more than 200,000 women have joined the sisterhood of predominantly Black, college-educated women.
The Harford County Alumnae Chapter (HCAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is doing its part to make a positive impact on the international community. The goal of this year’s ‘5K WATER DASH’ is to assist the millions of men, women, and children who do not have access to the most essential element on God’s earth, WATER.
According to The United Nations.Org, nearly 1 billion people suffer needlessly without access to safe water. Nearly 80% of illness in developing countries is linked to poor water and sanitation conditions. Help us change lives…Dash with us on April 30, 2022.
