I hope you'll consider joining the 6th grade students to fund a water project. With your gifts and your help rallying support, we can provide clean, safe and reliable water to a community in Africa.
Today, too many children suffer needlessly - walking miles for dirty water that makes them sick. In our STEAM classes, we have explored the issue of water scarcity. We read "A Long Walk to Water" and learned about Salva Dute and his campaign to drill wells in villages for clean water.
Our students will be participating in the 2 WEEK WATER CHALLENGE. Students will pledge to drink nothing but water for two weeks. The money they save by drinking water onlu will be donated to the project.
Walk for Water.
The 6th grade ACES @ CHASE is going to recreate the walk for water of those in developing nations. We are going to walk a 1-mile distance with empty jugs ready and fill them up at a halfway point, then return. This will simulate the struggle many around the world face to get clean water.
Help us make the connection and raise water to help those that need access to clean water.
