Help Fund a Water Project

Together, we can unlock potential in a developing community by providing clean, safe water.
I chose The Water Project ( which raises money to build wells, a sustainable means to provide clean water to people around the world. Nearly 1 billion people don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. Join me and pledge to drink only water for two weeks, then donate the money saved to the water project. By joining collectively, each of you can help to raise awareness about the importance of clean water, and also raise funds to build wells for schools, medical clinics and orphanages in Africa and India. Clean water changes lives. Children return to school. Women begin small businesses. Men are no longer too sick to work. Fields are watered and food supply becomes more reliable. Health returns and children grow up to be productive members of their community. The cycle of poverty is broken. Lives are transformed.

In gratitude

Why It Matters

Access to clean, safe water unlocks potential

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

About The Water Project

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.

Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
