We are the Land Interns of 2014 and are seeking your support for our community service project, The Water Project.
As you all know, two of
Anadarko's fundamental core values are Servant Leadership and People &
Passion. Focusing on these principles, our land internship class is
dedicated to raising money to drill a water well in Africa through The Water Project.
Every day in rural communities
and poor urban centers throughout sub-Saharan Africa, hundreds of millions of
people suffer from a lack of access to clean, safe water. The Water Project
brings relief to communities around the world who suffer needlessly from a lack
of access to clean water and proper sanitation by drilling water wells in the area. In
addition to improving health, these water projects open doors to education and
stimulate economic development.
In light of the core values of
Anadarko, we kindly ask for your help by making a donation towards our
charitable vision. With your donation, you will not only be helping to
supply water to those in need, but you will provide a glimmer of hope
to individuals who need it most.
By creating this platform, we
aspire to both serve and provide aid to the most vital asset in Anadarko’s vast
portfolio – human life. On behalf of our internship class, we would like to
thank you for helping us help others.
Sincerely,
Land Interns of 2014
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
