Help Fund a Water Project

Together, we can unlock potential in a developing community by providing clean, safe water.

How many times have you walked to your refrigerator to grab a bottle of water? How many different water sources did you pass along the way because you have 'special' water that you like the taste of? I personally have three sinks, two shower heads, two spigots, and two toilets that all have cleaner water than what the people in Kenya and Uganda are forced to drink, and even my water doesn't taste clean enough so I filter it! Did you know, nearly one billion people worldwide lack access to safe drinking water. Dirty water causes illnesses such as diarrhea and typhoid. Diarrhea alone kills 1.8 million children each year. Unsafe water causes a cycle of sickness and poverty and communities struggle to teach their children, grow food, go to school and earn a living. My goal is short and simple. I have over 600 friends that I know somehow on Facebook, and a hundred more that are not. I want to, for once, use my association for the good of others whom we have never even met, and from the abundance that we have taken for granted, we each donate $10 to help build a well in Africa. Thank you so much for your time and may God bless each one of you!

Why It Matters

Access to clean, safe water unlocks potential

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

About The Water Project

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.

Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
