Here's how I see things. And I won't make it lame a boring promise. The majority of us are at the point in our lives where we work for money and haven't actually come close to starting our own legitimate careers yet. So heres my awesome web of thought. Let's assume that most of us want to enjoy life the most when we're older. In order to do that we need money. In order to get money we need a good job. In order to get the job you want you need to be better than anyone else applying for said job. In order to be the best you need to look more awesome than anyone else. Fewer things look more awesome on a resume or transcript than voluntarily building a well that saved hundreds of lives. What we need is 20 people with 50 bucks each. Thats like a days worth of work, and it looks awesome on any university transcript or job resume or what have you. You work your face off at your jobs anyway for months or years to put on a transcript. One day and you could get this which is probably gonna look more awesome anyway. Lemme know what you think...

Why It Matters

Access to clean, safe water unlocks potential

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

About The Water Project

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.

Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
