The Cal-Mum third graders have been learning the importance of water on our Earth. One interesting fact that we first learned was that the amount of water on Earth right now is the same as it was billions of years ago. However, did you know that not everyone on Earth has access to clean and healthy water like we do? The students decided to try and change that! Over the next couple of weeks we will educate our elementary school on the importance of having clean water to help people live and survive. During this campaign we will ask students to donate loose change that will be used to make a later donation to The Water Project. The Water Project builds wells for people who don’t have access to clean drinking water. We are not asking for children to empty their piggy banks! We are asking for a few cents here or there that can add up over time to help people who are less fortunate. We provided this site in case you would like to donate electronically. Thank you for your time and consideration with our project. If you have any questions please contact one of the teachers listed below.
