I started a fund raiser last year to raise money to contribute to a water project. The money that me and my friends donated here, was put towards the construction of a bore well and hand pump for Kyakakunguru Primary School in Uganda, that provided clean water to 500 people. Seeing the pictures of the construction, and the video of the local people using the well to get clean water from our well, was so exciting and fulfilling.
So much so, that I am starting a fundraiser again. This time, I am doing it under the name of my company, Compass Point. In addition to collecting donations from anyone who would like to join us in this effort, I will also be donating 2% of every sale at Compass Point.
I hope you'll consider joining me to fund a water project. With your gifts and your help rallying support, we can provide clean, safe and reliable water to a community in Africa.
Today, too many children suffer needlessly - walking miles for dirty water that makes them sick. You and I can change that. Please make a donation and then help me spread the word.
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
