In our society, most of us walk into the kitchen or open the refrigerator and pour a cold glass of water that is ready to drink. We have the luxury of being able to access this water at a moment's notice. Meanwhile, people who are providing for their families and for their communities are walking for hours, carrying heavy loads of water back to their homes every day to be able to provide.
There are communities around the globe who do not have access to clean water. Together, through this campaign, we can be the change. Imagine the impact that we can have on these families lives if we all work together and collect money to build and establish wells that will provide water at a moment's notice like we get to enjoy. Anything helps and everything is appreciated.
I will be running a half marathon to raise awareness for this cause in early August. This will be a personal event and anyone is welcomed to participate with me.
