I believe that all children should have the opportunity for fresh, clean water AND a chance to learn in a healthy space. I wish to help raise awareness through this National Junior Honor's Society project, that many children around the world do not have the basic need met of having safe water to drink. This is a need we can help meet by just giving up our soft drinks or coffee or bottle water for a couple weeks, to give another child water for a whole year. This can save lives. Children die every day from drinking unsafe water. Many children my age don't get to even go to school and learn to read and write, because they spend their days hauling all of this unclean water for their family members. Please join me to bring the saving cup of a clean drink of water to a child's life.
Take the 2 week challenge! Just give up all beverages that you would normally purchase for two weeks, and donate that money to the Water Project!! Just drink your nice, clean water that comes from your sink, and save young girls from hauling water from unclean rivers and ponds all day! Together, I know we can pay for water for a whole classroom of kids-that's only $250.00! It is possible if we all sacrifice just a little.Date | Donor | Amount | Message |

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
