Help Fund a Water Project

Together, we can unlock potential in a developing community by providing clean, safe water.

My family and I were talking about doing more since our family is so blessed to have everything we need and more. We are already sponsoring two children in under developed countries but I felt we could do more. I became aware of the fact that so many people in Africa, India, and other third world countries are sick or dying from lack of water. This is such a precious resource, one that I know I have taken for granted. I began thinking of all the times I threw water out because it was warm or how many half bottles of water were just tossed away. Even our plants and grass are watered with fresh water. Our clothes are clean, our teeth are healthy, our bodies are scrubbed because for us it is only a matter of turning on a faucet.

I believe those who can give, should give. So I am on a mission to put my money where my mouth is and I hope to find a bunch of other people who feel the same way. Each well is $7,000, so I thought, "why not two wells?" You should always dream big, right? I am hoping to accomplish my goal by the end of the year. Every bit helps and I am hopeful that others will feel the same way we do.

Why It Matters

Access to clean, safe water unlocks potential

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

About The Water Project

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.

Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
