Kris' Christmas Wish-No Gifts--Just Water
Help Fund a Water Project
Well, as I was emptying my email in box tonight I was struck by just how many emails I receive that try to convince me to buy something for a friend or family member during this Christmas season that they probably don't really need. I decided instead however, that I was not going to get Bruce the newest electronic device (sorry honey) or Leah some great CD or beautiful sweater. What I really wanted to do instead on their behalf was to donate towards the gift of water to families far from our home. I want to give this gift in lieu of presents to them this year and hopefully for the years to come and I would challenge my other family members and friends to do similarly.
Please join me in sharing such an important and precious gift of water in lieu of some other present that you may be thinking of giving to a friend or family member during this Christmas season.
I am thrilled to be doing this and hope you too will find great joy in this idea as well.

Why It Matters
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
