Help Fund a Water Project

Together, we can unlock potential in a developing community by providing clean, safe water.

We all take for granted that we can drink pretty much anything we want, any time we want. Do we ever walk more than a few feet for something to drink? It's at our fingertips - all day, every day.

Imagine if all you had to drink was dirty water, and you had to walk miles every day to collect it. Imagine spending the majority of your day lugging around heavy containers of water, just so you weren't thirsty. Imagine the only thing you have to drink making you and your family sick, or even dying...? Are you willing to give up drinking everything but water for 2 weeks to help those less fortunate? Simply going without for a couple weeks can help provide clean, safe, readily available drinking water for those less fortunate. Take the Water Challenge. Drink only water for just 2 short weeks, save the money you would have spent on other beverages, and donate to help provide clean water for a community in need!

Why It Matters

Access to clean, safe water unlocks potential

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

About The Water Project

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.

Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
