Right, so one of our friends made a rather distasteful joke
comparing the 5 minute walk he had to make to the local shops, to that of an
African child’s walk to fetch water. Sooo… We decided to come up with an ironic
way of getting him back whilst helping those in need. If we hit 2000 likes our
friend will have to shave his hair off. Here’s the plan…
1. Like and Share the page, and spread the word.
2. Donate £1 to our cause (or more if you wish too)
3. Achieve 2000 likes
4. Our friend has to shave his hair off AND we donate all the
money to those struggling to source water in Africa.
This has to be done by Christmas Day… But spare a thought for
those in need and let Africa enjoy Christmas too! Please donate and thank you
very much to those who already have. We have 7 days till Christmas so let’s try
to generate as many likes and donations as we can. Thanks for your help!
*all donations will be given to charity regardless of how
many likes we receive… But let’s make him pay!!
*Charity of choice: Check out the link here
*We are not taking any percentage of the money generated for
this cause.
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
