I believe everyone has a purpose in life, and I just recently discovered mine. It is to help others in desperate need around the world, since water is life and there are people dying from not having clean water. I want to take a stand and touch the lives of those in need. I have been praying and realized if I want a change I have to make that change by taking an action and following through with it. I am greatly inspired and deeply motivated to raise funds that will go towards building a well in Africa. To build this well where people can go and get clean water so that they may avoid filthy, diseased water, that could cost them their lives, it would cost $6,000. $6,000 to save the lives of many.
You cannot put a price on human life.
Every 15 seconds someone dies from lack of water or contaminated water. That is 4,000 People a DAY! Let's work together to change that by bringing them clean water. Even $1 dollar can provide 1 person clean water for 1 year. Help fund a well in a thirsty community. Help children attend school so they don't have to walk miles on end and 6-7 hours in search of water. We take water for granted, it is the root of all life and we simply cannot live without it. Let's reach out and provide them with hope, health, and a future!

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
