Help Fund a Water Project
I decided to start my own water project after learning about the problems with water supply in third world countries in my Environmental Sociology class. Last year I planned to go to Guatemala on a service volunteer trip but had some family emergencies come up that made it difficult for me to be gone. I want to start this project and raise as much money as I can to make up for the fact that I could not travel last year. I love traveling and think it is very important for everyone to learn about different cultures and to give back in any way they can. I hope everyone will decided to donate even a small amount! Even $5 can help a third world family get clean drinking water!

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
