What better way to celebrate Christmas than the gift of clean water to change hundreds of lives in Africa?
Do you remember the water shortage crisis we faced in the Klang Valley recently this year? If that was bad (and yes, it was!), imagine what it would feel like to never have access to clean water your whole life!
Right now, I'm feeling ambitious and I really do hope to raise $2,000 (in USD) throughout the Christmas season to provide a community of people with the gift of a very basic necessity. With a few hundred friends on Facebook right now, if we could chip in a one-off amount ranging between $10-15, which is equivalent to just ONE fancy meal in KL, this target is not impossible after all!
Again, what better way to celebrate the season of giving? Especially since it's also the season of receiving our year-end bonuses! Haha..Let's live the true meaning of Christmas and give so that others may live a better life. Help me put hope under someone's tree in Africa! Thank you in advance and have a blessed Christmas and New Year's! =) P/S: Should you wish to donate, please do leave your name/initial so I can thank you personally after!

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
