I love the support and unbelievable generosity our fellow human beings have shown for a cause like battling ALS. The ice bucket challenge has inspired many of us to drive a record donation status and fun awareness to a disease we knew before as "Lou Gehrigs disease". But, since we have literally wasted enough water to fill reservoirs for less fortunate individuals...Please donate, and/or eat a really hot pepper, and post the crying like a baby aftermath on facebook. Then you must challenge a friend by sharing this page and tagging your friends in the comments. Chris Bohlen is up first as the pepper part of the challenge was his idea. Any really hot garden peppers out there?
Here's an idea... Introducing The Water Challenge It doesn't require anyone to stretch their budget. Instead... it's a simple trade. Give up one expense for two weeks (your usual beverage expense). Donate what you save ($0 out of pocket). Drink water to give water. Drinking only water for two weeks can free up at least enough cash to give one person access to water. Any amount that you can spare is great!Date | Donor | Amount | Message |

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
