Help Fund a Water Project
Hi everyone! I am Shannon! I am a high school girl who is super excited to start this journey with The Water Project. Last summer I went on a retreat through CIY, Christ in Youth, and I got inspired to do something for the Kingdom of God. After months of talking and praying about this amazing opportunity I am finally ready to start raising money! Living in a first world country, we take fresh water for granted. This project is not only a way to help children and families have safe drinking water but also to spread the word of God to communities of people who have never even heard of the Bible.
John 4:14 says "Whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."
This experience will provide clean water and water of the Spirit, eternal life with Jesus. Please join me in raising money and praying over this incredible project.

Why It Matters
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
