On the same trip, I will go to Norway, Nordkapp, the northernmost place in continental Europe. After that I will cycle through Finland to Hanko, the southernmost place in Finland. The trip will be approximately 4000km. My trip will start and end in the city of Tampere. The purpose of the trip is not just to ride around Finland, but also to remind people about clean and safe water and the importance of protecting our waters.

In Finland and other Nordic countries, it may be difficult to always remember how Limited clean water is. Imagine that only 2.5% of all the world's water is fresh, drinkable water. Water, the foundation of our life, our raw materials, which will end in the next couple of generations if the problem is not understood or endured. In the future, most of the grandchildren of the people will suffer from water scarcity unless the waste and pollution of the water comes to an end.
Whom we live in, surrounded by water, we will not always think, as about 10 years, about 60% of the world's population suffers from water scarcity. Global contamination and climate change are continually weakening the world's water status. Urbanization, industrial growth and rapid population growth also weaken our water resources. Water consumption has almost doubled in the past 50 years. One of the greatest challenges facing mankind is to secure enough clean water to the world's population.
That’s why I created my own fundraising for clean water supported by The Water Project organization.
