Fresh, clean water. After I became pregnant I'd become what I coined a "water snob". I didn't like to drink from a faucet and preferred certain brands of bottled water. Stupid. It's stupid. But I'm not so spoiled that I'm blind to the fact that I'm lucky and fortunate enough to even have acces to fresh, clean water. It's something I've taken for granted.
Recent trends have also reminded me that water in this country is often "wasted" (for lack of better words). Keeping our yards green in the summer, washing our cars, etc..... We do these things while people in other countries don't even have access to fresh, clean water to drink. But here's an opportunity to change that and help others. $115 provides water to one family. Let's help 10 families!! Whatdoyasay!? $1,150 will help 10 families!! Please donate what you can, if you can. Every little bit helps. Thank you, friends!!Date | Donor | Amount | Message |

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
