In Year Nine this term at Parklands Christian College, students have been learning about third world problems and current issues in our world at present. As part of this topic we watched a video about a lady who had to walk about 12km everyday to get water. This motivated the class to participate in this walking fundraiser, to help poverty stricken communities gain access to clean water.
