Allison's Campaign for Water

Every day, I relive a moment from my family trip to Africa last year. We stopped at a clean water well in a small village where children and their goats were gathered around. They took turns to fill their buckets and tubs as their goats drank from a wheelbarrow under the spigot. My children were invited to try the pump, which was a gracious gesture. This well and pump is like gold to that community. I vowed in that moment to do something to help solve this crisis. Raising awareness and money is something I CAN DO. It makes sense that one of the greatest causes of poverty in Africa is also the most overlooked...the lack of access to clean drinking water.

Water means health, education, safety and food, all of which translates to opportunity, knowledge and empowerment!
