CLEAN WATER CRISIS: Sumbu I, Taraba State, Nigeria
WE NEED DONATIONS TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN! It is life-changing!
In the remote rural community of Sumbu I, over 400 people rely on a single open, unprotected pond as their only water source. Every day, families—especially women and children—walk long distances to collect this stagnant water, risking their health and their future.
Contaminated water like this is the primary cause of cholera, typhoid, and diarrhoea, as documented in both rural and urban Taraba State, including Jalingo, the capital.
But there’s hope.
We’re bringing TierraBlue Solar Water Farm — an Australian innovation that turns dirty, disease-ridden water into pure, safe drinking water — fully solar-powered, with no chemicals or filters required.

To serve this entire community, we need 3 Solar Water Farms.
Total cost: USD $30,000
Every cent goes to deploying life-saving water systems directly to the people of Sumbu
Together, let’s ensure clean water reaches everyone, everywhere.
