My whole life I've grown up fortunate enough to have shelter, food, love, and clean water. I can wake up in the middle of the night to get water freely running through my faucet, shower when I need to, and boil a pot of water to have a cup of tea; however, there are people and families all across the global less fortunate to not have these necessities. One of the most important being clean water. Water to drink, bath with, cook with. This December, I will be taking a month long trip to South Africa to visit my grandmother who lives in a small town outside the city of Cape Town called Fish Hoek. In Africa, like all countries around the world, there are lots of areas fighting poverty and hunger with no clean water. With "Crystal Clear Project for Clean Water" (CCP), I want to be able to unlock human potential by providing a reliable water project to communities in sub-Saharan Africa who are suffering needlessly from a lack of access to clean water and proper sanitation. My goal is to be able to create sand dams, wells, filter surface water, and/or protect springs, rivers, and other sources of water in sub-Saharan Africa. Our belief motivates our action. It doesn't limit our reach. Help me raise to save and aid those in need of the access to fresh, crystal clear water.
with LOVE, Caroline C.

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
